What you can do for the Atlas
Volunteer contributions to the collection of herpetofauna observation data are extremely important for the constant enrichment of the Atlas with new and updated information.
If you come across a reptile or amphibian (alive or dead), you can input the data through our online tool, or contact us via e-mail or social media as seen below.
During communication with the Atlas team, with the purpose of updating the database used for the Atlas, you can send us the name of the species you have located in case you know what it is, the area (either with coordinated, or by description), the date of observation and any photos or videos you might have, for verification of the species and extraction of further info (health condition of the animal, age, etc). In case you don't know the species but you have photos of it, a member of the team will identify it.
